Hello, watch fam! We’ve got some exciting news today from a brand that truly embodies the spirit of independent watchmaking. Gyavius Watch Company, the family-owned boutique based in Sofia, Bulgaria, has just pulled the wraps off its latest creation: the NAVI S Collection.
This isn’t just a new model; it’s a significant “sleeper upgrade” to their previous NAVI release. Gyavius is known for doing things its own way, focusing on in-house design and manufacturing, and the NAVI S looks like a bold refinement of that philosophy.

A Masterclass in Dimensions
Perhaps the biggest story here is the case. The original NAVI was a retro-futuristic beast, and Gyavius has now scaled it down for what sounds like incredible wearability.
The new 316L stainless steel case measures 41mm in diameter, but here’s the kicker: it also has a 41mm lug-to-lug measurement. That’s right, a “square” 1:1 ratio that’s incredibly rare. Gyavius claims that after a year of testing, the watch “wears like a 39mm dream in a 41mm frame”. At just 13mm thick (including the crystal) and featuring drilled lugs for easy strap changes, this could be a new benchmark for compact, robust tool watches.

Serious Professional Specs
Don’t let the wearable size fool you; this watch is built to withstand incredible pressure. The NAVI S is water-resistant to 100 ATM, or 1,000 meters. 🤯
To achieve this, Gyavius armed the watch with:
- A double-domed sapphire crystal (an upgrade from the previous mineral glass).
- A double-sealed, screw-down crown.
- A solid case back.
It also features a 60-click, bi-directional bezel for timing. This is a serious piece of kit.

The Heart and Soul
Inside the NAVI S beats the trusty Sellita SW200. This Swiss-made automatic movement is a true workhorse, operating at 4Hz (28,800 vph) and offering a 41-hour power reserve. It’s a reliable choice that any “veteran watch collector” can appreciate.
The collection launches with three distinct, hand-printed, and hand-lumed dial variants:
- Matte Black dial in a Brushed case.
- Matte Orange dial in a Brushed case.
- Sunburst Mint dial in a Blasted case. (Gyavius notes this unique mint color was inspired by the leather interior of an old Range Rover! )
The watch ships on 20mm spring bars, and the package includes both an FKM rubber strap and a stainless mesh bracelet.

The Microbrand World Difference
What makes this release special for us at Microbrand Watch World is Gyavius’s commitment to in-house manufacturing.
This isn’t a “white label” watch. The company, founded in 2012 by industrial designer T. Gyavurov , builds most of its components – including the case, bezel, case back, crown, dial, and hands – in its own atelier in Bulgaria.
This is a watch for those who value true craftsmanship and effort.
The Gyavius NAVI S collection launches today at GYAVIUS.com, priced at $2,400 USD (exclusive of taxes).
We’re incredibly impressed by the specs and the in-house philosophy. A 1000-meter diver with a 41x41mm case is a fascinating proposition.
