So who is TWCO? It all started in early 2012 when Robbert Suurland, owner, founder, designer and full blooded watch aficionado decided to combine his experience and passion and started his own company: TWCO Technical Watches.

The Sea Rescue Diver series, Orange, Yellow and now also in BLACK is a classic divers watch made from surgical 316L Stainless Steel. Sapphire crystal, double anti-reflective coating on the inside, high quality mechanical movement (Miyota 9015) and overall finish to a high standard. Obviously water-resistant to 600m deep (60ATM), it is equipped with a very solid unidirectional bezel and a large easy to read minute hand. In short, it’s a professional watch for both the professional and the aficionado.
In addition, each TWCO has some special design features. The TWCO Sea Rescue Diver range has the so-called “3 minute radio silence markers”. To increase the chances of a weak distress transmission being received in maritime communications, three-minute periods of radio silence are observed on the hour and half hour on distress channels. With the exception of distress traffic, all transmissions must cease during silence periods. The dial of the Sea Rescue Diver marks these radio silence periods in green for the 2182 kHz frequency and red for the older 500 kHz frequency.
