Not sure how long this tradition has been going on, but as far as I know for the past few years, I have seen how Aragon founder & owner, Mr. Wing Liang celebrates his birthday by offering mystery boxes of different value but at an amazing price tag ! It’s like a birthday gift for his fans, followers and existing watch owners too.
I’ve always been impressed with how much dedication Minuteman Watches shows towards supporting veteran causes. They have run a number of support campaigns in the past and this year they have selected Homes For Our Troops to be its 2019 nonprofit partner. That means that a portion of all sales of Minuteman watches for this year will go to help Homes For Our Troops build adaptive homes for severely injured post 9/11 veterans.

Singapore have been producing some cool design and concept of micro brands lately and it’s no exception that Advisor Watches, an independent brand is joining the list as well. I am fortunate enough to be given an early access to preview and review the 2 prototypes of Ascent Classic and Ascent Skull.
One of the first watches I reviewed for Microbrand Watch World was from CX Swiss Military Watch. It was an indestructible dive chronograph watch that was large, heavy and imposing. For this review, I have another example of their chronograph watches.
DWISS was founded in 2011 by Rafael Simoes Miranda, a watch designer since 2006. Rafael has done designs for over 15 brands of watches and is a winner of numerous design awards. Nothing seems more appropriate than an experienced watch designer going forward with his own watch brand in Switzerland, the world’s center of fine watch manufacturing.
The people in TACS have been super awesome and sent me another watch to review. This time, it’s the Day & Night model from their latest collection. I am super excited about this watch as this is my first time trying out a single-hand dial watch concept, and it would be interesting where this review would lead me to. Let’s start with what Day & Night is all about.
