If you’re not familiar with the watch manufacturer RZE, we would like to introduce you to this Singapore-based company. RZE specializes in dive watches, pilot watches, and field watches, with one of their notable series being the Endevour collection, which consists of their dive watches.Recently, RZE introduced a new collection in the series – RZE Endeavor Glacier Dials, featuring a distinctive dials. We thought it would be a good opportunity to learn more about the company and the new watch. You’re welcome to join us on a virtual journey to Singapore.
RZE Watches is a Singaporean microbrand that was founded in 2019 by Travis Tan and Vivian Ko. The company’s name is an acronym for “Rugged, Zealous, and Excellent.” RZE Watches is known for its high-quality, affordable watches that are designed for everyday use and adventure. The company’s watches are made with high-quality materials, such as titanium and sapphire crystal, and they are built to withstand the rigors of everyday life. RZE Watches also offers a wide variety of watch straps, so you can customize your watch to your own personal style.
Some of the most popular RZE Watches models include the Resolute, the Valour, and the Ascentus. The Resolute is a field watch that is perfect for everyday use and adventure. It has a durable titanium case and a sapphire crystal, and it is water resistant to 200 meters. The Valour is a pilot watch that is perfect for travel and everyday use. It has a stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. The Ascentus is a GMT watch that is perfect for travelers. It has a titanium case and a sapphire crystal, and it is water resistant to 200 meters.

The Glacier dials collection is a new model in RZE’s Endevour line, including four new watches. The watches comes in a 40.5mm case, made of solid titanium with UltraHex™ Coating, built to withstand the toughest conditions. The titanium case is reliable, versatile and incredibly lightweight. RZE offers the watches with a titanium bracelet or with a Hexa-Flex strap for a more sportive look.
Inside the watches we find Seiko NH35A automatic movement, beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of up to 41 hours.

The centerpiece of these watches is their dial. RZE chose dials with a texture of a glacier, in 4 different colors – White (Ross Ice Model), Light Blue (VATNAJÖKULL), Green (YULONG) and dark blue (BLAUEIS).

When it comes to the Glacier dials, the RZE Endeavour can now be seen as an affordable alternative to the Grand Seiko White Birch. The textured dial not only features rippling patterns on the surface but also incorporates a grainy texture, adding depth and complexity. As a result, any applied color appears much richer, whether it’s the bright, crisp white or the deep navy blue. Each of the four colors is named after significant regions: white represents the Ross Ice Cap of Antarctica, light blue represents the Icelandic glacier Vatnajökull, green teal represents the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain of Yulong in China, and finally, the dark Blaueis represents the German Berchtesgaden Alps.

RZE started the pre-order for these watches. All 4 models comes with a price tag of 399 US dollars for the rubber strap versions. If you want your watch with a Titanium bracelet, it will cost you 499 US dollars. RZE is also offering an option to purchase the watches with a titanium bracelet and a rubber strap, for 548 US Dollars. Delivery will start next month – June 2023.

The dials are clean, with applied indexes filled with super luminova, with a date window at 3 o’clock. RZE placed a metal frame around the date window, in a look that corresponds with the indexes. The date plate comes in the same color of the dial, something which we appreciate.

With a wide range of purchasing options, vibrant color choices for the watch dials, a reliable automatic movement, and, most importantly, an attractive price tag for each purchase configuration, RZE definitely has something to be proud of.
