CODE41 is one of the most interesting watch brands in the watch world. The micro brand was founded in 2016 with a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised 543,150 CHF. The company gained popularity by taking a unique and disruptive approach to watchmaking, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design and a transparent, community-driven production process. One of the core principles of CODE41 is to involve its customers and community in the watchmaking process. They aim to provide transparency and allow enthusiasts to understand the intricacies of watchmaking, from design to production. By engaging with its customers, CODE41 offers a more collaborative and inclusive approach compared to traditional watch brands. Lately, the company launched one of the most exciting watches in the watch world, not just by a micro brand if you ask us, but also by any watch manufacturer – CODE41 T360 Tourbillon. Let’s see what’s so special about this watch and why we are so excited about it.

CODE41 T360 Tourbillon is the company’s latest timepiece and the most premium timepiece CODE41 ever launched. When CODE41 announced the launch of the project to create this watch, the company aimed to provide a Swiss-made tourbillon with a price tag lower than 10,000 USD.
The T360 comes in a Grade 5 titanium case. CODE41 offers two case designs – the first one is the familiar NativeDNA case which the company has been using for its wristwatches, with a diameter of 42mm and a width of 11.7mm. The second design is the new Stratorm case, measuring 42mm in diameter and 12mm in width.

The T360 comes with a skeleton dial in 5 colors – black, black and blue, black and orange, blue-grey, and rainbow. For each dial color, CODE41 offers different hand colors. The blue-grey and rainbow dials will be available with red or white hands; the black-orange dial will be available with orange hands; the black and blue dial will be available with blue hands, while the black dial will be available with red hands. The watches are available with a wide selection of bracelets and straps, including a steel bracelet, rubber straps, and leather straps. Overall, CODE41 offers over 200 possible combinations (!) for the 2 case designs.

Inside the watch, we find the manual-winding caliber T360. The caliber is developed, designed, and assembled in Switzerland, and it comes with a straightforward design, including 141 components.
The caliber beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz frequency), offering an impressive power reserve of 105 hours. Accuracy is -5/+5 seconds per day, and the caliber is fine-tuned in 5 positions.

Remember when we told you that CODE41 aim to provide transparency and allow enthusiasts to understand the intricacies of watchmaking? One of the best examples of this approach is that the company lists all suppliers involved in creating this watch, including famous Swiss companies such as KIF, BCP Tourbillon, Atokalpa, and Orimpex. If you need more transparency, CODE41 lists every component’s price!
Pre-orders for these watches started on the 19th of April and will end by 3 pm (CET) on the 17th of May. The starting price for the watch is 9,598 USD, which is the cost of the T360 in NativeDNA case with a leather strap.
Delivery is estimated between April to May 2024.

This Pre-order is the sale of the second batch of watches, as the first batch, The T360 Creator Edition, with 150 pieces, sold out in less than 24 hours. CODE41 offers another chance for its fans and customers to purchase these watches, offering another batch of 100 pieces that almost sold out. If you’re searching for a Swiss affordable Tourbillon and like the skeletonized style offered by CODE41, you better hurry to buy one …
