Zelos are no strangers to Kickstarter with 3 very successful campaigns behind them. This new one is sure to please with it’s unique handset and unusual style.
Sharkfin are start-up watch designers from Ireland who also have an interest in EDC’s (Everyday carries) and will be launching a Kickstarter project in December 2015. Their watch combines a key item of survival gear with an excellent timepiece.
Closely following on from the Hvitsten Christiana comes another excellent Scandinavian micro brand, (with a near unpronounceable name for my Anglo tongue,) VEJRHØJ. After listening to the video on loop for a while I think the closest approximation is ‘Vair Hoy’. One thing is certain though, the NAUTIC collection is an exceptional offering.

One of the most famous clocks in the world, the Shepherd Gate Clock stands outside the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London. This excellent crowdfunded watch project aims to put a replica of it on your wrist.
Minimalist watches are usually a category populated by re-badged Alibaba specials but the Christiana from Norwegian micro brand Hvitsten is definitely not your typical “minimalist quartz” Kickstarter watch.
Boston and Stewill go for another lap around this track and this time they’re in pole position. The beauty of crowdfunding is that it lets you change and adapt quickly to the market based on your prospective customers feedback. For micro brand watches, this is what often sets them apart from larger brands.
