The Apollo is a new project by Amber Liu following on from her Artemis project last year. It will be launching on Kickstarter on the 28th September. While the Artemis was a fairly ordinary looking moonphase dress watch, the Apollo is something else entirely, pushing the envelope on design ideas to produce something quite exotic.
Havaan Tuvali is a brand new micro watch brand from Eric Yeh of Taiwan. This is his first watch currently being offered for purchase. The brand name comes from the Taiwanese aboriginal tribe language meaning “the deer’s sunset”.
A watch for everyone, but designed by a sportsman with sportsmen in mind. This seems like an oxymoron, but it isn’t. Though the design of the Visser watch is fishing reel in nature, the look really works for me.

I have a prototype of the watch with me and from what I have found this watch has a very promising future.

Dive watches are one of my favorite watch types. They can be worn almost anywhere and they have always had an adventurous persona about them. Even if you barely get these watches wet, they generally give the wearer the feeling that they won’t let you down under harsh conditions.
We first covered the Superellipse from Jubileon one year ago with their first Kickstarter campaign. I loved the design which was both fresh and timeless. Unfortunately as sometimes happens, the watch was overlooked by crowdfunders and Jubileon had to go back to the drawing board. Thankfully they persevered and have now relaunched the Superellipse with a redesigned dial and hand set.
